Jess Labow

Third place winner of 2023 Sunshine Coast, BC favourite canine trainer

I've had a passion and love for all animals from the very beginning. I felt I had a natural gift with dogs, where this became something I  explored during my time at the Toronto Humane Society, where I volunteered as a dog walker, and strived to be one of the red level (working with more advanced behaviour issues) dog walkers.  From there my love and passion for working with misunderstood dogs transcended and became part of my life where I’ve been immersing myself ever since in everything dog. I’ve worked in many facets of the animal care world, from Animal shelters to Animal clinics to working alongside private dog walkers, to taking the bull by the horns and starting my own company; risking it all for the love of dogs.

When I’m not working with Labowsdoggos pack members, you can find me fostering dogs and rehabilitating them for adoption. I’ve worked with rescue agencies such as “Fur-ever Able” (Milton, ON), and currently with ”Taco Dog Rescue Society” (Vancouver, BC). I’ve worked with countless breeds, sizes and temperaments. Patience, kindness and understanding are all part of the success of Labowsdoggos. I pride myself on building or rebuilding relationships between clients and their dogs, helping them to live a happy and stress free life together.

Jess specializes in training, training walks, and structured pack walks.
