FAQs

  • We recommend minimum 2 behaviour based walks per week which will be followed up by a training session approximately every 6 weeks to maintain the work your dog and myself are doing during these training walks.

  • Typically these walks are just myself and your dog, which gives me a focused look into what your dog is struggling with. The training sessions are designed for anyone in the family to join, and learn how to become the handler your dog needs and build your relationship on walks and out in the real world.

Requests to join for these walks can be made 48 hours before their walk is scheduled.

  • If you’ve never used our services before, the time frame will be generally 3-7 days to get the process started. Returning clients - we require 48 hours notice for added days or booking changes.

  • Any cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be subject to a charge for the full service amount and will reflect on the following invoice cycle.

  • All payments can be made by e-transfer and will be indicated on your invoice.

  • Yes, we currently offer 1 hour pack walks with pick up and drop off included. These hikes consist of small groups 3-5 dogs, they’re structured but fun, allowing your dog to sniff and socialize on different trails around the Sunshine Coast. Off leash freedom is dependent on recall.

  • Yes, all services include pick up and drop off.

  • We first start with booking the initial consultation where you will get a full assessment and report of your dog, and allow me to create a customized training blueprint to suit your dog’s needs and work through their behaviour issues.

For these sessions, I come to your home; working our way to set your dog up for success out in the real world, and to help guide you on how to eliminate unwanted behaviours and reinforce good behaviours between sessions.

  • That’s where I come in! When hiring me, you get someone who will help you gain that confidence back. Bringing a dog with behaviour issues out in the world can be a stressful thing, believe me; I’ve been there. Through working with me, I will teach you how to better communicate with your dog, understand your dog’s needs. Through modifying the things that have not been working for you, I can help you and your dog get back on track, strengthening that bond and building a better relationship. Once you’ve given me a chance to walk privately and assess your dog’s training needs, we can work together through my the training program with the option of private training walks.

  • We don’t discriminate, we kindly ask that your dog is (or you’re willing) to be muzzle trained. If you’re unsure of how to introduce the muzzle, I offer private training to help you with this.
